Our Staff
Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of Northern California, the Sierra Family Health Center is a rural health center that has been providing full-service medical care to area residents for more than 42 years.
What is an FQHC?
- As a Federally Qualified Health Centers, we are a community-based health care provider that receives funds from the HRSA Health Center Program to provide primary care services in underserved areas.
- It is our mission provide the highest quality medical, dental and behavioral services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay or health care insurance.
- We accept government-related and private insurance programs, including Medicare; Medi-Cal; County Medical Services Program; Covered California; many commercial insurances, and more.
- We also offer a sliding fee and cash-pay discount for uninsured patients.
